PILATES
At PowerHouse Pilates Academy, students gain profound knowledge of the Classical Pilates method, as originally conceived and refined by Joseph Pilates in 1920s New York.
Our program preserves the integrity of the original method (Contrology) while integrating the latest scientific insights from kinesiology, functional anatomy, and contemporary movement science.
Pilates, in its original form, is a sophisticated system practiced on a complete range of specialized apparatus: Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Arm Chair, Electric Chair, Ladder Barrel, Wall Unit, and Pedi Pole.
Each apparatus is designed with a clearly defined purpose — from spring-based resistance to gravitational support — enabling deep muscular activation and full-body integration through movement.
The method’s ultimate goal is optimal health, an efficient and pain-free body, and strength derived from a stable core.
Within the PowerHouse studio, participants have a unique opportunity to master the Pilates method across all apparatus. Our mission is to train instructors to fully adhere to the original principles, delivering authentic client experiences and exceptional results grounded in both tradition and science.
